Indy MW was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, when he was two. From a young age, he always had a love for music. Ultimately, after graduating high school, he decided to move to Los Angeles, California, where he is currently located, to attend Musicians' Institute of Hollywood to study music, specifically guitar performance.

Even though he may be majoring in guitar, he is versatile when it comes to music and is also a vocalist and bassist. He uses these skills on his own music, which is completely self-produced. He makes alternative and hard rock music that includes elements of post-punk, nu metal, post-hardcore, psychedelic rock, shoegaze, and grunge, which brings you to the past while keeping you in the present, adding more modern elements to these genres.
